A Shiver
A shiver has come over me
and I feel so cold
something hurts me, and
it twists inside, maybe
I could die, wouldn’t
it be nice to be done
at last having done
nothing, except maybe
there was a peculiar love.
Oh remember me my lovely love
who knew me always simply well
so I can grasp you to my chest
when my heart will beat no more.
I am so cold,
hug me.
