White Gloves

White Gloves

Butt naked of pretense
as a dove, but for
an Easter hat and gloves,
she launches stupendous panties
flying them into a challenge ring
like a giant flying saucer hat,
an elegant gauntlet thrown
down to heed, and

she is explosive at the door of
the ivory castle critics, but
for a lovely butt kicker indeed
are they charmed and fall for
a secret petard.

Marie is the stunning panties of a joke,
Yet, Marie throws panties into the ring
like fancy hats and gauntlets,
those of ambition, of ardent intelligence.

Marie is a firecracker at the door of the castle, and
critics like walls
are delighted to fall.

To Pen Or Not Stupendous

Buttress not the day
by sitting on your butt as
a writer who has no easy hands
to behold the inked canvas this
of the daily breaded day, wandering
to behold the moony-mooded wine
that calms the savage pen, a pen
of destiny, of valor, of tripe and
smoked salmon, yes, then
buttress the soul with a word
or more in the Moors’ boggy

Strawflowers

Strawflowers

Based on photo by Bethany @bethanylynn1210

Slowly, petal by petal,
like bloomies of wax paper
I see them, and know that

I’ve strawflowers on flour day,
have many cookies to eat, and

have these new awesome flowers
with crinkly origami smiles, because

for this day, strawflowers
informal flora as they are with endless straws
chat with me by their signing bloom
as I dip these straws of mine
in to two
strawberry milkshakes
for my love.
