Ants Go Wild

Ant (Draft 1)

Who cares what the ant thinks:
It’s not going viral, and it’s
not selling

The grasshopper with chocolate
at least gets a story before
being eaten.

  1. Well I wouldn’t want you to be eaten. But if anything on the internet deserves to go viral it’s your writing. It would be wonderful if a million copies sold. Speaking of grasshoppers we had two of them jump into our car today on that motorway nature drive, but we didn’t dip them into chocolate and eat them. We actually thought the first one was a bee and got freaked out and parked on the side of the road, jumped out and opened all the doors (hehe).

    1. wow, so many grasshoppers are grateful to you. But maybe the chocolat e companies not so much. I’ve not actually tasted them, and I don’t think they’ve ever tasted me. I think I’d prefer a truce.

  2. Free verse is always nice since you have less constraints. Nice imagery. So many people get attention that don’t deserve it, and the ones who deserve it don’t get the attention. At least that’s what I think you’re trying to say.

    1. Thank you very much for finding this old obscure poem, I think I’ve done better, so I’m honored that you found me in my oddest form and
yet heard me a little bit, I think some day i might sing for you because I think I will keep writing and there will be music. (I know it’s a little bit silly for strangers to say anything except have a nice day.)

      1. It just caught my eye while I was looking through your categories. Ants really interest me for some weird reason. Ants are always so hard working and they never work for themselves. Its like they work for nothing, but at the end of the day I dont think they care. Their main focus is their goal or mission. Also, there are no strangers in the world wide web. We’re free to say what we want without worries. Keep writing and I’ll keep reading.
