An Empty Sky

An Empty Sky

I crave something real.

I touch the feather of you
and I fly

Give me my crumb
and I will be a seagull

  1. I love this one…it’s absolutely perfect. Even though it’s short, it says quite a lot. I believe this might be one of the best ways to start the day because it gives wings to the heart. Oh and I would share the whole loaf of bread with you – not just a crumb…

    1. Thanks. Sometimes I have short notions that stop short on their own and I’m not sure if it’s good. I just saw a review in the paper talking about “risible plot twists”. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of “risible” or maybe I forgot. I think it would be interesting to use. It means causing laughter. But it’s a much better sound than the sarcastic “laughable”.
