” Twist ” short poem by Doug

    TWIST

Stormy dolly redhead dancer
sing me in the lull, for
your calm curls are cork screw
in sunrise wine cork

Could be that
intoxicated storms will mellow,
to fold like umbrellas,
and they will twirl away
as finely as your dress
